  • Rice

  • Ground chicken
    130 g
  • Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)

  • (A)Soy sauce

  • (A)Sake
    1/2 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tsp
  • (A)Grated ginger
    2 tsp
  • Salad oil
    1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper mix
    a pinch
  • Nori seaweed
    4 sheets

How to make

  1. 1. Remove the core of the green bell peppers and chop into small pieces. Remove the stem of the carrot, peel the skin and chop into small pieces.
  2. 2. Add (A) to a bowl and mix.
  3. 3. Put cooking oil in a pan, add ground chicken, sprinkle salt and pepper mix, and stir-fry. When the ground chicken is cooked, add Step 1 and stir-fry further.
  4. 4. When the vegetables are cooked, reduce the heat to low, add Step 2, and stir-fry. When all the juice has evaporated, remove from heat.
  5. 5. In a separate bowl, mix rice and Step 4.
  6. 6. Wrap each 1/4 of the mixture in plastic wrap, and use your hands to press and form a triangle. Remove the plastic wrap, wrap nori seaweed around the rice, and place on a plate to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the seasoning to your taste. For ground chicken, you can substitute your favorite kind of ground meat.
