  • Chicken thigh

  • (A)Sake
    3 tbsp
  • (A)Salt
    1/2 tsp
  • (A)Powdered cheese
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Sugar
    1 tsp
  • (A)Grated garlic
    1/2 tsp
  • Beaten eggs
    1
  • Corn flakes
    80 g
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Ketchup
    1 tbsp
  • Lemon
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. 2. Add (A) and rub it well, then place it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to marinate.
  3. 3. Dip in a beaten egg, then cornflakes to coat the batter.
  4. 4. Pour 2-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 180℃ (360°F), and deep-fry Step 3 for about 10 minutes until cooked thoroughly, once the batter turns gold, drain the oil.
  5. 5. Transfer to a plate, garnish with ketchup, and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

You can substitute chicken breast instead of chicken thigh. If you add cheese powder, you can enjoy the umami flavor and richness of cheese. Please use it as you like. When coating the cornflakes, please apply it tightly so that it doesn't come off during deep-frying.
