  • Chinese cabbage (Hakusai)
    300 g
  • Enoki mushroom
    100 g
  • Grilled tofu (Yaki-tofu)
    150 g
  • Japanese leek
    1/2
  • Shiitake mushroom
    2
  • Konjac noodles (Shirataki)
    50 g
  • (A)Noodle soup base (Mentsuyu)
    150 ml
  • (A)Water
    150 ml
  • Beef tallow
    10 g
  • Beaten eggs
    2

How to make

  1. 1. Roughly chop Chinese cabbage (hakusai). Cut Japanese leek into 0.4-inch wide diagonal slices.
  2. 2. Cut off the hard tip of enoki mushroom and break it with your hands.
  3. 3. Cut grilled tofu (yaki-tofu) into 4 equal pieces.
  4. 4. Cut off the stem of shiitake mushrooms and cut a cross shape on the cap.
  5. 5. Put (A) in a bowl and stir well.
  6. 6. Place beef tallow in a pot, add beef round, and heat over medium heat until the color changes.
  7. 7. Add Step 1, Step 5, Step 3, Step 2, konjac noodles (shirataki) and Step 4, heat over medium heat until cooked through, then remove from heat. Serve with beaten eggs and it's ready.

Tips for cooking

You can make it with ponzu sauce deliciously instead of a noodle soup base (mentsuyu). You can also add condiments such as grated ginger or young green onion (konegi) to your taste.
