  • (A)Starch
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Sake
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Grated ginger
    2 tsp
  • (A)Grated garlic
    1 tsp
  • (A)Sugar
    1 tsp
  • (A)Salt and pepper mix
    a pinch
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Chervil
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Add ground chicken, hanpen fish cake, and (A) to a bowl, mix, and form into 15 round balls.
  2. 2. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pan, heat to 190℃ (370°F), and add Step 1. Deep-fry for about 4 minutes until the inside is cooked through, and once it has browned, drain the oil.
  3. 3. Transfer to a plate, garnish with chervil, and it’s ready to serve.
