  • Udon

  • Hot water
    as needed
  • Japanese leek
    10 cm
  • Retort pouch curry
    200 g
  • (A)Water
    200 ml
  • (A)Noodle soup base (Mentsuyu)
    30 ml
  • Starch and water mixture
    2 tbsp
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, boil udon noodles according to the instructions on the package, and drain the water.
  2. 2. Thinly slice Japanese leek diagonally.
  3. 3. Add retort pouch curry and (A) in a pot and heat over medium heat.
  4. 4. When it boils, add Step 2 and starch and water mixture, heat over low heat for about 1 minute, and remove from heat.
  5. 5. Place Step 1 in a bowl. Pour Step 4 and sprinkle young green onion (konegi) to finish the dish.
