  • Chicken thigh
    300 g
  • (A)Salted rice malt (Shio-koji)
    1.5 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    1 tsp
  • (A)Honey
    1 tsp
  • (A)Grated garlic
    1 tsp
  • (A)Grated ginger
    1 tsp
  • Starch
    3 tbsp
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Red-leaf lettuce
    2 sheets
  • Cherry tomato
    2

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 1. Place chicken thighs and (A) into a zipper bag and rub it well. Rest it on the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  3. 2. Coat overall with starch.
  4. 3. Heat about 2-inch of frying oil in a pot to 170°C (340°F) and add Step 2. Deep-fry for about 5 minutes until cooked through, then drain the oil.
  5. 4. Lay out red-leaf lettuce on a plate, plate Step 2, garnish with cherry tomatoes, and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking
