  • Daikon radish
    300 g
  • Water
    200 ml
  • (A)Ponzu sauce
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock
    1 tsp
  • Salad oil
    1/2 tbsp
  • Green shiso leaves
    2 sheets

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the stem of green shiso leaves and set aside. Peel off daikon radish and set aside.
  2. 1. Slice green shiso leaves thinly.
  3. 2. Cut daikon radish into 0.8-inch pieces and make a cross-cut on both sides.
  4. 3. Put Step 2 into a heat-resistant bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave for 5 minutes at 600 W.
  5. 4. Place cooking oil into a heated pan over medium heat, and add the yellowtail. When the yellowtail is cooked through, add Step 3, water, and (A). Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and cook for about 10 minutes until daikon radish is cooked thoroughly, then remove from the heat.
  6. 5. Serve in a bowl, top with Step 1, and it's ready to serve.
