How to make

  1. 1. Cut grilled tofu (yaki-tofu) in half. Diagonally cut the green part of Japanese leek into thin-sliced. Cut off the stem of shiitake mushrooms and make a decorative cut on the surface.
  2. 2. Add cooking oil to the hot pan and stir-fry hashed beef over medium heat. Once cooked, remove from heat.
  3. 3. Heat (A) in an earthenware pot over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add udon noodles, Step 2 and 1, cover with a lid and simmer as indicated on the package, then remove from heat.
  5. 5. Add an egg and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the salt to your liking. We used hashed beef, but you can substitute it with your favorite part of meat. For senior citizens, children under the age of 2, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems, please avoid eating raw eggs. *Detailed instructions on raw eggs to be added.
