  • Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)

  • Chicken thigh
    100 g
  • Japanese leek
    1/2
  • Salt
    a pinch
  • (A)Lemon juice
    1/2 tbsp
  • (A)Chicken soup stock (powder, cube, liquid)
    1 tsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    1 tsp
  • (A)Black pepper
    as needed
  • Water
    50 ml
  • Salad oil
    2 tsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut a slit to the package of stir fry noodles (yakisoba), and warm them in a microwave at 600W for about 20 seconds.
  2. 1. Slice about 2-inch of green onion (Japanese leek) thinly for garnishment, and slice the rest diagonally into 0.2-inch pieces.
  3. 2. Shave chicken thighs into 0.2-inch wide strips.
  4. 3. Add cooking oil to a warm pan over medium heat, add Step 2 ingredients, sprinkle salt, and stir fry.
  5. 4. Once chicken thighs change color, add diagonally sliced green onion from Step 1, and stir-fry together.
  6. 5. When green onions have softened, add microwave-heated yakisoba noodles and water, and stir-fry while loosening the noodles.
  7. 6. Add (A) and mix well and it's ready to eat. Arrange on a plate and garnish konegi from Step 1.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of salt as you like. You can use other parts of chicken instead of chicken thigh, or you can cook with pork as well.
