  • Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)

  • Pork belly
    80 g
  • Chinese chive
    30 g
  • Bean sprouts
    30 g
  • Japanese leek
    10 cm
  • (A)Cooking sake
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Chicken soup stock (powder, cube, liquid)
    1.5 tsp
  • (A)Garlic powder
    1/2 tsp
  • (A)Black pepper
    2 three finger pinches
  • Sesame oil
    1 tbsp

How to make

  1. 1. Cut Chinese chives into 2-inch pieces.
  2. 2. Slice green onion (Japanese leek) thinly diagonally.
  3. 3. Cut pork belly into 1-inch pieces.
  4. 4. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add Step 3 and stir-fry.
  5. 5. Once the pork belly color changed, add Step 2 and stir-fry over medium heat.
  6. 6. When green onions have softened, add bean sprouts, stir fry noodles (yakisoba), (A), and Step 1, then stir-fry them together over medium heat.
  7. 7. Once the flavors have blended well, remove from the heat, place on a plate and serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of chicken soup stock powder, to your taste. The dish can also cook nicely with scraped pork or other similar meats instead of pork belly.
