  • Ground pork
    80 g
  • (A)Chili bean sauce (Tobandjan)
    1 tsp
  • (A)Grated ginger
    1/2 tsp
  • Soy sauce
    1 tsp
  • Sesame oil
    1 tsp
  • Soup
  • Processed soy milk
    200 ml
  • Water
    100 ml
  • (B)White ground sesame
    1 tbsp
  • (B)Chili bean sauce (Tobandjan)
    1 tbsp
  • (B)Powdered chili pepper
    1 tsp
  • (B)Chicken soup stock (powder, cube, liquid)
    1 tsp
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Follow the instructions on package to heat and thaw the udon noodles.
  2. 1. Add sesame oil to the heated pan over medium heat, add (A), and stir-fry. When fragrant, add ground pork and stir-fry.
  3. 2. When ground pork is cooked, season with soy sauce to adjust the taste, and remove from heat.
  4. 3. Heat processed soy milk and water in a pot over medium heat, add (B), mix, and remove from heat when warmed.
  5. 4. Plate udon noodles, pour in Step 3, sprinkle Step 2 and young green onion (konegi), and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the seasoning to your liking. You can substitute pure soymilk for processed soy milk. Processed soy milk may separate when boiled, so please be careful with the heating power.
