Please add your favorite amount of the pungent original tangy & spicy seasoning mixed with powdered Japanese pepper (sansho) and chili oil (la-yu).

How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel daikon radish and set aside. Put konjac in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, rub well, boil water in a pot, boil for about 2 minutes, and drain.
  2. 1. Cut daikon radish into a 0.8-inch wide cut into round slices, make some slits in a cross-cut, put it in a heat-resistant bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave in a 600 W for about 5 minutes until soft.
  3. 2. Make some slits of a 0.2-inch wide grid on konjac, cut it in half, then cut it diagonally in half.
  4. 3. Cut deep-fried thick tofu (atsuage) in half to form triangles, put it in a strainer with deep-fried ball of fish paste (satsuma-age), pour boiling water over it, and drain.
  5. 4. Cut grilled fish cake (yaki-chikuwa) into half-length pieces, then cut them diagonally in half.
  6. 5. Add (B) into a bowl, and mix until everything is blended.
  7. 6. Add water and chicken wings into a pot, turn the heat to medium, remove any scum, and when it boils, add (A). When chicken wings is cooked, add Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, Step 4, and boiled eggs. Cover with a lid, lower the heat to low, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  8. 7. Once the flavors have been absorbed, remove from heat, serve with Step 5, and it's ready.
