  • Thin-sliced half sized bacon
    2 sheets
  • Beaten eggs

  • Milk
    100 ml
  • Powdered cheese
    1 tbsp
  • Japanese versatile dashi base (Shiro-dashi)
    1/2 tbsp
  • Salted butter
    10 g
  • Egg yolk
    1
  • Coarsely ground black pepper

How to make

  1. Prepare. Heat and thaw the frozen udon noodles according to the package description.
  2. 1. Cut thin-sliced half bacon into 0.4-inch pieces.
  3. 2. Add and melt salted butter in the heated pan over medium heat and add Step 1 and stir-fry it. When lightly browned, add milk and heat over medium heat.
  4. 3. When it starts to make some bubbles, turn off the heat and add beaten eggs, cheese powder, and a Japanese versatile dashi base (shiro-dashi) and mix well.
  5. 4. Heat over low heat again, add udon noodles and mix well, then remove from the heat once everything has blended.
  6. 5. Serve in a bowl, top with the egg yolk, sprinkle black pepper and it's ready to serve.
