  • Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)
    1 head(s)
  • Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)
    40 g
  • Onion
    30 g
  • Spicy pollack roe
    20 g
  • (A)White wine
    1.5 tsp
  • (A)Granulated Japanese consomme soup stock
    1/2 tsp
  • Salted butter
    15 g

How to make

  1. Prepare. Loosen the Japanese stir-fried noodles (yakisoba). Remove the core of the bell pepper. Remove the thin skin from the spicy cod/pollack roe (mentaiko) and break it up.
  2. 1. Cut the green pepper into thin strips. Thinly slice the onion.
  3. 2. Melt the salted butter in a skillet over medium heat, add Step 1, and saute for about 3 minutes.
  4. 3. When the onion softens, add the yakisoba noodles and stir-fry it over medium heat for about 1 minute.
  5. 4. When the yakisoba noodles loosen, add mentaiko and ingredient (A), and stir-fry together over medium heat. Remove from the heat when the flavors have blended.
  6. 5. Transfer to a plate and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

You can also use a red or a yellow bell pepper instead of a green bell pepper.
