  • Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)
    1 head(s)
  • Thin fried tofu (Abura-age)
    1 sheets
  • Mizuna mustard greens
    80 g
  • Japanese leek
    15 g
  • Green shiso leaves
    2 sheets
  • (A)Japanese pickled plum paste (Bainiku)
    1/2 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    1 tsp
  • (A)Sugar
    1 tsp
  • (A)Sesame oil
    1 tsp
  • (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock
    1/2 tsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Remove the oil from thin fried tofu (abura-age).
  2. 1. Cut the abura-age in half, then cut it to 0.2-inch width.
  3. 2. Cut off the base of mizuna mustard greens and cut it to a 2-inch width. Make a diagonal thin slice for the Japanese leek.
  4. 3. For the green shiso leaves, cut off the stem and shred.
  5. 4. Add the ingredient (A) to a heat-resistant bowl and mix together. Add Step 1 and mix together. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 30 seconds at 600 W.
  6. 5. Take it out once, add Step 2 and Japanese stir-fried noodles (yakisoba) noodles, cover loosely with plastic wrap again, and microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W.
  7. 6. Mix it well and place it on a plate. Garnish with Step 3, and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of salt to your liking. You can substitute udon noodles for yakisoba noodles. You can also substitute Chinese cabbage (hakusai) or cabbage for mizuna mustard greens.
