  • Pork belly

  • Broccoli

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Cake flour (Pastry flour)
    20 g
  • Beaten eggs

  • Panko-breadcrumbs
    20 g
  • Frying oil
    as needed

  • Thickened Japanese worcestershire sauce

How to make

  1. 1. Cut broccoli into small clusters.
  2. 2. Place Step 1 on top of the pork belly and roll it up.
  3. 3. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, then coat in the order of cake flour (pastry flour), beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  4. 4. Pour 2-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 180℃ (356°F), and add Step 3. Deep-fry for about 3 minutes until the pork belly is cooked through, then drain off the oil.
  5. 5. Arrange Boston lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and Step 4 on a plate, and it's ready. Please serve with thickened Japanese Worcestershire sauce.

Tips for cooking

You can substitute pork belly for your favorite part of pork. Roll the pork belly to cover the whole broccoli in Step 2.
