  • (A)Vinegar
    1.5 tbsp
  • (A)Sugar
    2 tsp
  • (A)Salt
    2 three finger pinches
  • Hashed beef
    150 g
  • Japanese BBQ sauce (Yakiniku sauce)
    3 tbsp
  • Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Salad oil
    1 tsp
  • Green shiso leaves
    6 sheets
  • Roasted white sesame seeds
    1 tsp
  • Toppings
  • Cucumber
    30 g
  • Cherry tomato

  • Japanese Mayonnaise
    2 tbsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the stem of green shiso leaves. Cut off the stem of cucumber. Cut the stem of cherry tomatoes.
  2. 1. Slice green shiso leaves thinly.
  3. 2. Cut cucumber into thin round slices. Cut cherry tomatoes into 4 equal pieces.
  4. 3. Add ingredient (A) into a heat-resistant bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 30 seconds at 600 W.
  5. 4. Add the rice and Step 3 into the bowl, and lightly mix like you're cutting it.
  6. 5. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat, and stir-fry hashed beef.
  7. 6. When the color of the hashed beef changes, stir-fry Japanese BBQ sauce (yakiniku sauce), white roasted sesame seeds, and sugar over medium heat. Remove from the heat when the flavors have blended.
  8. 7. Serve in the order of Step 4, Step 1, Step 6, and Step 2 on a plate, and add mayonnaise, and it's ready.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of Japanese BBQ sauce (yakiniku sauce) to your liking. You can make it deliciously in ground beef instead of hashed beef.
