  • Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)

  • Konjac (Konnyaku)
    100 g
  • Seasoning
  • Noodle soup base (Mentsuyu)
    3 tbsp
  • Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tbsp
  • Seven flavor chili pepper
    1/4 tsp
  • Sesame oil
    1 tbsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Parboil konjac to remove the bitterness.
  2. 1. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into 0.2-inch wide pieces.
  3. 2. Cut konjac in half and cut into thin strips about 1-inch long.
  4. 3. Add sesame oil to the heated pan over medium heat, and add Step 1 and Step 2 to stir-fry.
  5. 4. When the color of bell pepper becomes bright and cooked through, add the seasonings and stir-fry. Turn off the heat when the flavors have blended well.
  6. 5. Transfer to a plate and it's ready to serve.
