  • Rice
    400 g
  • (A)Miso
    1/2 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tbsp
  • (A)bonito flakes
    2 g
  • Sesame oil
    1/2 tbsp
  • Green shiso leaves
    2 sheets

How to make

  1. 1. Mix well rice and (A) in a bowl and divide into 4 equal portions. Wrap it in plastic wrap and, use your hands to press and form a triangle.
  2. 2. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Remove the plastic wrap from Step 1, put them in a row on the pan, and bake. When lightly browned on both sides, remove from heat.
  3. 3. Arrange on a serving dish and garnish with green shiso leaves.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of miso to your taste. When making onigiri, if you squeeze it tightly, it won't fall apart easily when baking.
