  • Japanese leek

  • Soy sauce
    100 ml
  • Water
    100 ml
  • Sugar
    3 tbsp
  • Roasted white sesame seeds
    1 tbsp
  • Grated garlic
    1 tsp
  • Sliced Japanese chili peppers (Takanotsume)
    1 tsp

How to make

  1. 1. Mince the onion, Chinese chive, and Japanese leek.
  2. 2. Put the eggs in a pot of boiling water, boil over medium heat for about 6 minutes, and drain. Cool in a bowl filled with water, peel off the shell, and drain.
  3. 3. Add Step 1 and the remaining marinade ingredients to the bowl, and mix well.
  4. 4. Add the ingredients from Step 2 and Step 3 into a zippered storage bag, and let the flavors blend well. Close the mouth and marinate in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.
  5. 5. Arrange it on a bowl and it's ready to serve.
