Introducing Japanese stir-fried noodles (yakisoba) with a little spicy yakiniku seasoning. Yakiniku sauce makes it much easier to cook. It's also delicious if you use pork for beef, or if you're worried about the spiciness, you can add some lettuce. Please try it out and we hope you like it.

  • Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)

  • Beef short rib
    100 g
  • Base Seasoning
  • Cooking sake
    1 tbsp
  • Salt
    1 three finger pinch
  • Black pepper
    1 three finger pinch
  • Onion
    50 g
  • Red bell pepper (Paprika)
    20 g
  • Garlic
    1
  • Gochujang
    2 tsp
  • (A)Japanese BBQ sauce (Yakiniku sauce)
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    2 tsp
  • Sesame oil
    2 tbsp
  • Radish sprouts
    10 g
  • Sweet pickled fresh seasonal ginger
    10 g
  • Roasted white sesame seeds
    1 tsp
  • Chili Oil(La-yu)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Loosen the Japanese stir-fried noodles (yakisoba) noodles. Cut off the base of the radish sprouts. Remove the core of the onion.
  2. 1. Thinly slice the onion and the red bell pepper.
  3. 2. Cut the radish sprouts into 3 equal lengths and slice sweet pickled fresh seasonal ginger.
  4. 3. Thinly slice the garlic
  5. 4. Cut the sliced beef short rib into 2-inch strips. Marinate for about 10 minutes.
  6. 5. Add half of the sesame oil, gochujang, and Step 3 to a pan and heat it over low heat. When it starts to get fragrant, add Step 4 and stir-fry it over medium heat for about 2 minutes, and take it out.
  7. 6. Add the rest of the sesame oil to the same pan, add Step 1, and stir-fry it over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add the Japanese stir-fried noodles (yakisoba) and stir-fry it for another minute, then add Step 5 back, add an ingredient (A), and stir-fry it until the flavors are fully blended, then remove it from the heat.
  8. 7. Place Step 6 on a plate, top with Step 2, sprinkle the white roasted sesame seeds, drizzle the chili oil (la-yu) and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

The trick is to keep the heating of yakisoba noodles short so that the yakisoba doesn't get sticky. The seasoning should be prepared before cooking to cook smoothly.
