  • (A)Cake flour (Pastry flour)
    100 g
  • (A)Water
    100 ml
  • (A)Eggs

  • (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock
    1 tsp
  • Cabbage
    1/8
  • Pork belly
    100 g
  • Okonomiyaki sauce
    as needed
  • Japanese Mayonnaise
    as needed
  • Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)
    as needed
  • Salad oil
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Chop cabbage. Cut the pork belly into 2-inch pieces.
  2. 2. Mix all (A), then add Step 1 and mix well.
  3. 3. Heat a pan over medium heat, add cooking oil, and drop every Step 2 with a spoon scoop.
  4. 4. Place one pork belly at a time on Step 3, turn over, and cook until browned on both sides.
  5. 5. When Step 4 is cooked, arrange it on a plate, top with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, and dried green seaweed flakes (aonori), and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Of course, you can make it with commercially available okonomiyaki flour. Please enjoy the arrangement with your favorite toppings such as dried bonito flakes, deep fried tempura bits (tenkasu), and sakura shrimp.
