  • Chicken breast
    250 g
  • Marinade
  • Japanese BBQ sauce (Yakiniku sauce)
    3 tbsp
  • Bell pepper (red or yellow) powder
    1 tbsp
  • Grated ginger
    1/2 tsp
  • Grated garlic
    1/2 tsp
  • Water
    1 tbsp
  • Starch
    40 g
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Garnish
  • Lemon
    as needed
  • Parsley
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Add Step 1 and the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl, rub it in, cover with plastic wrap, and rest for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. 3. Add water, rub it well, and coat with starch.
  4. 4. Pour 2-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 170℃ (340°F), and add Step 3. Deep-fry for about 5 minutes until chicken breast is cooked through, then drain the oil.
  5. 5. Serve on a plate with garnishes and it's ready.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount of seasonings to your liking. You can substitute chicken breast with chicken thigh or tender.
