How to make

  1. Prepare. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
  2. 1. Brush the skillet with melted salted butter.
  3. 2. Combine the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl and whisk it until white.
  4. 3. Sift in the flour mixture and whisk it well until no longer powdery.
  5. 4. Make meringue. Place the egg whites in a separate bowl and add in the sugar 3 at a time, stirring each time with a hand mixer until the peaks form.
  6. 5. Add Step 4 a 3 at a time to Step 3, mixing each time lightly with a rubber spatula.
  7. 6. Pour into Step 1 and bake it in a 160°C (320°F) oven for about 20 minutes. If the batter doesn't stick to the bamboo skewer you pierced, it's cooked.
