  • Green shiso leaves
    4 sheets
  • Ponzu sauce

How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel the daikon radish and set aside. Cut off the stem of the green shiso leaves, and set aside.
  2. 1. Grate the daikon radish. Cut green shiso leaves into thin strips.
  3. 2. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  4. 3. Add Step 2 and marinating ingredients in a bowl, rub together, cover with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. 4. Mix the batter ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle Step 3 over the meat.
  6. 5. Heat a pan over medium heat, add cooking oil, and pour in Step 4 ingredients. Cook for about 6 minutes until the chicken breast is cooked through and browned on both sides, then remove from the heat.
  7. 6. Arrange on a plate and top with Step 1. Drizzle ponzu sauce, and it's ready to serve.
