How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the brown cremini mushrooms hart tip. Defrost the frozen puff pastry sheets as indicated on the package. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 1. Slice brown cremini mushrooms thinly.
  3. 2. Slice block bacon in half thickness and cut it to 0.2-inch width.
  4. 3. Place a frozen puff pastry sheet on a parchment paper and roll it out to the thickness of 0.08-inch with a rolling pin.
  5. 4. Transfer it to a baking tray and poke holes all over it with a fork. Coat it with Genovese sauce, leaving 0.4-inch from the side, and top it with Step 1, 2, and shredded pizza cheese. Brush the blank sides with egg yolk, and bake in a 200°C (390°F) oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Tips for cooking

Please make sure to preheat the oven before baking. If the oven does not have a preheating function, set the temperature and heat for 10 minutes before baking. The strength of the heat may vary depending on the type of oven and the period of use. Please make sure to follow the recipe as a guide but adjust the baking time as needed. If it browns too fast, cover it with aluminum foil.
