  • (A)Tempura flour
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Cold water
    1 tbsp
  • Frying oil

How to make

  1. 1. Cut off the stems of green shiso leaves, cut them in half, and roll imitation crabs into it.
  2. 2. Mix (A) in a bowl, then dip Step 1 into the mixture.
  3. 3. Heat about 0.4-inch of frying oil in a pot to 170°C (338°F). Add Step 2 and deep fry for about 2 minutes, once it's fried to a crisp, remove from the pan and drain the oil.
  4. 4. Arrange on a plate, and it's ready to serve.
