This is a finger food that can be cooked quickly with chicken and konjac. If you put a little more effort into konjac, you can short-cut the time to season. Please add spicy sliced chili peppers as you like. You can also enjoy it without adding sliced chili peppers.

Ingredients

  • Konjac (Konnyaku)
    100 g
  • Green part of Japanese leek
    20 g
  • Chicken breast
    100 g
  • (A)Miso
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Sake
    1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil
    1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper mix
    a pinch
  • Sliced chili peppers
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Mix ingredient (A).
  2. 1. Poke both sides of konjac with a fork and tear it with a spoon.
  3. 2. Slice Japanese leek diagonally.
  4. 3. Shave cut chicken breast.
  5. 4. Add Step 1 to pan, dry roast over high heat, and when the water is gone, salt and pepper mix in the sesame oil and chicken breast, and fry over medium heat.
  6. 5. When chicken breast is cooked through, add Step 2, ingredient (A) and sliced chili peppers, stir-fry over medium heat, arrange it in a bowl, and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Poke both sides of konjac with a fork and scrape it with a spoon to make the taste easier to blend. It's easier to season if you mix miso and cooking sake.
