  • Chuck roll
    150 g
  • Burdock root
    100 g
  • Konjac (Konnyaku)
    70 g
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Sake
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Sugar
    1 tbsp
  • Salad oil
    1 tbsp
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Wash the burdock root clean.
  2. 1. Shave the burdock root and soak in water for 5 minutes.
  3. 2. Cut the konjac into thin strips about 0.2-inch wide.
  4. 3. Cut the beef into 0.2-inch wide pieces.
  5. 4. Heat a pan over medium heat and add cooking oil.
  6. 5. Add step 3 and stir-fry until the color changes, then add Step 1 drained off water and stir-fry.
  7. 6. Add the konjac and mix, then add ingredient (A) and stir-fry over medium heat until the liquid evaporates.
  8. 7. Serve on a plate, sprinkle with young green onion (konegi) and it is ready.
