  • Pork shoulder
    100 g
  • Firm tofu
    200 g
  • Green shiso leaves
    8 sheets
  • Salt
    2 three finger pinches
  • Daikon radish
    100 g
  • Ponzu sauce
    2 tbsp
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel daikon radish and set aside. Cut off the stem of green shiso leaves and set aside.
  2. 1. Grate daikon radish.
  3. 2. Cut firm tofu into 8 pieces.
  4. 3. Put green shiso leaves and Step 2 on thinly sliced pork shoulder meat and roll.
  5. 4. Place the rolls in a heat-resistant container with the ends facing down, and sprinkle with salt. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600 W for 5 minutes until pork belly is cooked through.
  6. 5. Transfer to a plate, top with drained Step 1, drizzle ponzu sauce, sprinkle with young green onion (konegi) and it's ready to serve.
