  • (A)Cake flour (Pastry flour)
    2 tsp
  • Sake
    1 tbsp
  • (B)Soy sauce
    1 tbsp
  • (B)Sugar
    1/2 tsp
  • (B)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tbsp
  • Salad oil
    1 tbsp
  • Green shiso leaves
    2 sheets

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the stems of green shiso leaves.
  2. 1. Slice green shiso leaves into thin strips.
  3. 2. Roughly chop onion.
  4. 3. Add ground pork, Step 2, and (A) in a bowl, and knead well. When the mixture gets stickier, form 6 equal round doughs.
  5. 4. Heat cooking oil in a pan, add Step 3, and cook over medium heat.
  6. 5. When both sides are browned, add cooking sake, cover with a lid, and steam over medium heat.
  7. 6. Add (B) in a bowl, and mix well.
  8. 7. When the ground pork is cooked, add Step 6 to the entire pan and cook over medium heat to mix well. When the flavors are well blended entirely, remove from the heat.
  9. 8. Arrange it on a plate, top Step 1, and it's ready to serve.
