  • Sugar

  • (A)Cooking sake
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Soy sauce
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Grated garlic
    1/2 tsp
  • Sesame oil
    1 tsp
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel the potatoes and remove the sprouts.
  2. 1. Cut the potatoes into bite-size pieces. Place in a heat-resistant container, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for about 4 minutes at 600 W until tender.
  3. 2. Cut chicken breasts into bite-size pieces. Place in a bowl and season with sugar.
  4. 3. Add sesame oil to a pan heated over medium heat, then stir fry the chicken breasts until they change color.
  5. 4. Add Step 1 and ingredient (A), and stir fry over medium heat, then remove from heat when the chicken breasts are cooked through.
  6. 5. Serve in a dish, sprinkle with young green onions (konegi) and it's ready.
