  • Chicken tender
    300 g
  • Firm tofu
    300 g
  • (A)Powdered cheese
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Chicken soup stock (powder, cube, liquid)
    2 tsp
  • (A)Black pepper
    a pinch
  • (A)Japanese Mayonnaise
    4 tbsp
  • (A)Starch
    60 g
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Ketchup
    1
  • Garnish
  • Lettuce
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Remove the tendon from chicken tenders.
  2. 1. Roughly chop the chicken tenders.
  3. 2. Place firm tofu wrapped in paper towel on a heat-resistant plate, heat in a 600 W microwave for about 1 minute, and drain.
  4. 3. Cool the tofu from Step 2, place it in a bowl along with the chicken tenders and ingredient (A). mix them well with your hands, and roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. 4. Pour frying oil until it reaches about 3cm (1-inch) from the bottom of the pan and heat to 170°C. Add in the chicken and tofu balls made in Step 3 and fry until it is cooked through and turns golden brown.
  6. 5. Place lettuce and the fried chickens from Step 4 on a plate, place ketchup on the side and it is ready!
