  • Chicken breast

  • (A)Sake

  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1/2 tbsp
  • (A)Salt and pepper mix
    1/3 tsp
  • Starch
    3 tbsp
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Grated daikon radish
    50 g
  • Cherry tomato
    3
  • Lettuce
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Drain excess moisture from the grated daikon radish.
  2. 1. Peel and mince the ginger. Mince the garlic.
  3. 2. After sticking a fork all over the chicken breast, cut it into bite-sized pieces and put them in a bowl.
  4. 3. Add the ingredients prepared in Step 1 and ingredient (A), rub well with your hands, cover with plastic wrap, and leave for about 10 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  5. 4. Add starch and cover the chicken.
  6. 5. Pour frying oil into the pan until it reaches about 2 cm (0.8 -inch) high from the bottom. Heat it to 170°C and fry the chickens made in Step 4 for about 5 minutes.
  7. 6. When everything turns golden brown and is cooked through, drain the oil, place on a plate with lettuce and cherry tomatoes, garnish with grated daikon radish and it is ready!

Tips for cooking

By making a hole in chicken breast with a fork, it becomes easier for the taste to be absorbed and it also allows it to become softer. You can adjust the amount of salt to your liking.
