  • (A)Beef stew mix
    125 g
  • (A)Water
    300 ml
  • (A)Japanese worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Laurier
    1 sheets
  • Salted butter
    15 g
  • Salad oil
    2 tsp
  • Whipping cream (Heavy cream)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel the carrots.
  2. 1. Cut the onion into wedges. Cut the carrots into large chunks and the brown mushrooms in half lengthwise.
  3. 2. Cut the beef short rib into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper mix and rub lightly with your hands.
  4. 3. Add cooking oil to a pan, heat over medium heat and place Step 2 side by side. Cook for about 3 minutes while flipping.
  5. 4. Once browned, add the onion and fry for about 3 minutes until tender.
  6. 5. Add the red wine, cover with a drop lid and simmer. When the amount is reduced to half, add ingredient (A) and bring to a boil.
  7. 6. When it comes to a boil, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.
  8. 7. Add the carrots and brown mushrooms and simmer over low heat for another 30 minutes until tender, then melt the salted butter to finish.
  9. 8. Serve on a plate and sprinkle with whipping cream (heavy cream) and it is ready.

Tips for cooking

You can also add potatoes and broccoli to make it delicious. When scum comes out, scoop it out. If it tastes light, sprinkle a little salt on it. This recipe uses red wine. Depending on the heating condition, alcohol may be included in the dish, so please be careful with children, people sensitive to alcohol, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Also, please refrain from consuming alcohol when driving, playing sports or taking a bath.
