  • Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)

  • Beaten eggs

How to make

  1. Prepare. Remove the hard tip of shimeji mushroom and break it with your hands.
  2. 1. Cut onion in half and cut into 0.8-inch pieces. Cut off the root of Japanese mustard spinach and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  3. 2. Place in the order of Step 1 and shimeji mushrooms into a pot, spread out chuck roll, add ingredients for Kanto-style sukiyaki sauce (warishita), cover with a lid, and heat over medium heat.
  4. 3. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the color of the chuck roll changes, when everything is cooked through, remove from the heat.
  5. 4. Serve with beaten eggs and it's ready.
