  • Soy sauce

  • Sugar

  • Shaoxing rice wine

  • Oyster sauce

How to make

  1. 1. Lightly tap boiled eggs with the back of a spoon to make a crack in the front.
  2. 2. Add marinade ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. When the sugar has dissolved and the tea leaves have opened, add Step 1 and cook for 20 minutes over low heat.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and rest it. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.
  4. 4. Plate it and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please adjust the amount and type of spices to your taste. If the tea bag shows up from the pot, it may catch fire if you're using a gas fire, so please be careful.
