Ingredients

  • Rice
    200 g
  • Pork belly
    150 g
  • Hot water
    as needed
  • Japanese yam (Nagaimo)
    70 g
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    20 g
  • Egg yolk
    1
  • Sauce
  • Sesame oil
    2 tsp
  • Soy sauce
    1 tbsp
  • Yuzu pepper paste (Yuzu kosho)
    1 tsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the roots of the young green onions (konegi). Peel the Japanese yam (nagaimo).
  2. 1. Chop the konegi into small pieces.
  3. 2. Grate the nagaimo.
  4. 3. Boil water in a pot and add the pork belly. Boil over medium heat for about 2 minutes until cooked through. Drain the water and let it cool.
  5. 4. Add the sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
  6. 5. Place the rice in a bowl, sprinkle on Step 1, top with Step 3, pour Step 2, top with the egg yolk. Then pour Step 4 evenly and it is ready.
