  • Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)
    1 three finger pinch
  • Soy sauce
    1/2 tsp
  • Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1/2 tsp
  • Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Salt
    a pinch
  • Salad oil
    1 tsp

How to make

  1. 1. Put all the ingredients except cooking oil in a bowl and mix together.
  2. 2. Add half of cooking oil to a tamagoyaki Japanese omelet pan, heat over medium heat, and remove excess oil with a paper towel.
  3. 3. Pour in 1/3 of the egg mixture, heat over low heat, and fold. Repeat this Step 3 times.
  4. 4. Adjust the shape while it's still warm and cut into 6 equal pieces.

Tips for cooking

You can adjust the amount of salt to your liking. If it is difficult to roll the omelet (tamagoyaki), you can use tools such as a spatula.
