How to make

  1. Prepare. Peel the skin of the daikon radish.
  2. 1. For daikon radish, cut into 0.8-inch wide round slices.
  3. 2. Place in a heat-resistant bowl, cover with a plastic wrap, and microwave at 600 W for about 3 minutes until the daikon radish turns soft.
  4. 3. Cut fish cake (chikuwa) in half. Slice chikuwabu diagonally into 4 equal pieces.
  5. 4. Cut several notches into the sausages diagonally.
  6. 5. Add the soup ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once the curry roux has melted, add the ingredients from Step 2, 3, 4 and the rest of the oden ingredients and cover with a lid. Heat over low heat for about 20 minutes, then remove from the heat once everything is cooked through.
  7. 6. Serve on a plate and it's done!
