How to make

  1. Prepare. Bring the eggs to room temperature.
  2. 1. Boil enough water that can cover the entire egg in a pot, add the eggs and boil over medium heat for 6 minutes.
  3. 2. Drain the water and let it sit in some running water. Once it cools, peel off the shell.
  4. 3. Add the sauce ingredients in a zipper storage bag and mix. Add the eggs from Step 2 and marinate it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  5. 4. Drain the marinade, serve on a plate, garnish with yuzu pepper paste (yuzu kosho) and it's done!

Tips for cooking

You can adjust the amount of time you want to marinate the eggs. Place the eggs in a zipper storage bag, push out the air and close the zip so the flavors can soak in. For senior citizens, children under the age of 2, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems, please avoid eating raw eggs.
