  • (A)Ponzu sauce
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Water
    50 ml
  • Sesame oil
    1 tbsp
  • トッピング
  • bonito flakes
    as needed
  • Young green onion (Konegi)
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Cut off the stem of the eggplants and set aside.
  2. 1. Cut eggplant in half lengthwise and divide into 3 equal parts. Make a 0.2-inch wide slit diagonally across the skin.
  3. 2. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add Step 1, and cook until browned all over.
