─── - English - 【Chicken Tender and Cabbage Cheese Meatballs (Sasami to Kyabetsu no Cheese Tsukune)】 ■Ingredients (2 serves) ・3 (approx. 170g) Chicken tenderloins (Sasami, sinew removed) ・1/8 head (approx. 120g) Cabbage ・2 slices Melting cheese ・1 tbsp Salad oil (A) 1 tbsp Potato starch (Katakuriko) (A) 1 tbsp Sake (Cooking wine) (A) 1/3 tsp Salt ★ Sauce Seasoning ・1 tbsp Sake (Cooking wine) ・1 tbsp Soy sauce ・1 tbsp Mirin ■Cooking Time 25 minutes ■Nutritional Information (per serving) ・Energy: 237 kcal ・Protein: 19.6 g ・Fat: 10.9 sg ・Carbohydrates: 16.4 g Sugars: 15.2 g Dietary Fiber: 1.2 g ■Instruction 1.Julienne the cabbage leaves (cut into thin strips) and finely mince the core, place both in a heatproof bowl, microwave at 600W for about 1 and a half minutes, and let them cool slightly. 2.Mince the chicken tenderloins and place them in a bowl. Add ingredients (A) and knead until the mixture becomes sticky. 3.Squeeze the moisture from the cabbage (from step 1) and add it to the chicken mixture (from step 2). Knead until uniform. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions, wrap each portion around a piece of torn melting cheese, and shape them into rounds. 4.Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Arrange the meatballs (from step 3) in the pan and cook until nicely browned. Flip them over, cover with a lid, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 3–4 minutes until cooked through.
